Our Programs

Uganda, as we say, is ‘gifted by nature’. It is home to around 15 primate species, nearly 100 mammals and over 1,000 bird species. Coupled with spectacular scenery, this makes Uganda a nature lovers paradise.

NatureUganda has the highest percentage of Mountain Gorillas, more than half of the world's mountain gorilla population.

In particular, climate change is likely to mean increased food insecurity, shifts in the spread of diseases like malaria, soil erosion and land degradation, flood and infrastructural damage etc.

ClimateUganda is highly vulnerable to climate change and variability - its economy and the wellbeing of its people are tightly bound to climate
